Notice how this second chart has a noticeable difference from the default DataWrapper style. When you’re doing visualization, you usually want to tweak the style somewhat to make it your own. My recommendation is to start with color. For example, think about how The Economist has such a strong color scheme which makes its charts noticeably The Economist-y. Can you develop your own style?
